Just before the armies slam into each other, Leonidas shouts: “Give them nothing! But take from them…everything!” Imagine an equally small army of brilliant doctors who regularly oppose the seemingly insurmountable forces of both diseases like Multiple Sclerosis AND the regulatory boards that refuse to allow Repair Stem Cell treatments in the “Developed” World. The battle is difficult and not all patients will benefit from the treatment (70-75% do) so the doctors must “promise them nothing.” But the doctors · WILL give the patients the beneficial treatments · WILL give them their own stem cells · WILL decide that NONE shall stand in the way of treating their patients · WILL help MOST patients to become SYMPTOM FREE And the patients WILL get their lives back…in short, they will be given…EVERYTHING! Unfortunately, these doctors are a tiny minority in the great pool of medical practitioners in the Developed World including North America, EEC, and some Asia-Pacific countries. The majority are crushed into compliance by the iron thumb of the AMA, FDA and the Pharmaceutical companies. Practitioners must adhere to the code of “Profits, not Cures” or risk modern day ex-communication. Money alone rules as the formula AND the answer and human life does not even come into the equation. Imagine the courage required to stand up in defiance to both a sea of your peers cowed into obedience AND an enemy far more powerful than that the Persians brought to the Battle of Thermopylae. How does a mere doctor hope to match the plundering might of a “business” that generates profits in North America alone of two billion dollars a week? Here are five examples chosen from the tiny minority of doctors who have chosen patient care over personal comfort. These five doctors heard and considered the desperate pleas of their patients and “Promised them nothing, but gave them…everything.” Please note; these five stories were selected from many similar stories that have occurred since our last issue three weeks ago. Stem Cell Research on Bone Fractures, Knee Problems, Osteoarthritis, etc. Already Paying Dividends in Colorado Dr. Christopher Centeno, a pioneer in stem cell research in Broomfield, Colorado is now treating patients with osteoarthritis, joint pain, knee injuries and non-healing broken bones at his clinic using the patient’s own Repair Stem Cells to repair the damage. Goodbye Ankle Surgery- Stem Cell Treatment Instead Hal Kaye, an accountant who loved sports had endured four difficult ankle surgeries trying to repair a damaged arch sustained 15 years ago. The four surgeries had almost crippled him and the last surgery had caused his bone to in his ankle to die due to an artery dying off. For Hal, an avid golfer, his quality of life had deteriorated. Multiple Sclerosis Patient in Complete Remission after Stem Cell Treatment Alex Normandin, 26, of Montreal, Canada is recovering from his Multiple Sclerosis following the implantation of his own Repair Stem Cells. The stem cell therapy was done in conjunction with a research program in Ottawa with Dr. Mark Freedman. A medical student, Alex was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than 2 years ago and was distressed to learn that he had the aggressive form of MS and was on track to be in a wheelchair in a matter of months. Process of Stem Cells for Multiple Sclerosis in Canada Luckily, he was accepted into Dr. Freedman’s stem cell research program at Ottawa General Hospital. In this stem cell program, the patient is first given chemotherapy to kill off the immune system. Then, the stem cell transplant takes place to “reboot” the immune system. From the stem cell article: Normandin became patient 19. His transplant took place in December 2008. It worked. Not only does the disease appear to have stopped its progression, but Normandin says he feels his co-ordination and strength improving. Normandin is buoyed by the treatment’s eight-year track record — none of the 24 patients have suffered a relapse or a brain lesion. (The article fails to mention the one patient who died from the chemo) Stem Cell Therapy in China Quote Remembered You may remember Dr. Freedman from an article in which he commented on stem cell therapy in China: Dr. Freedman is concerned that patients are forking over large amounts of money for unproven treatments like this, especially when there is no follow-up care or monitoring when they get home. “It’s dangerous in the wrong hands,” he said. “The only reason these places could be in existence is to take people’s money and offer them something that’s unproven.” We called that the “Most Hypocritical Statement So Far in 2009 then, and I will stick to that for the following reasons: Chemotherapy is dangerous.  One of Dr. Freedman’s patients died while receiving it before the stem cell transplant- to call another treatment dangerous (which doesn’t use chemo, by the way) is hypocritical. By comparison, no patient of the world’s largest stem cell treatment center has ever died or even come close---after 5000 treatments! In our opinion, the good doctor is just another mouthpiece ---as he has to be to survive---in the “profits-only” world he operates in. He says the therapies are unproven and only in existence to take people’s money- however, in this article- it is revealed not only is his own treatment unproven, but it also is not free, in fact, far from free- The trial procedure costs are in excess of $50,000 per patient (paid by his government) vs. an average of $21,500 around the world. Most of those others wouldn’t touch chemo. So for those people who say that stem cell therapy overseas is very expensive– just look at Canada, or for that matter, look at Dr. Richard Burt’s super-successful multiple sclerosis clinical trial at Northwestern University in Chicago.  The cost for one multiple sclerosis patient is $90,000 I’m directing this at critics who always point out that overseas stem cell therapies are expensive and dangerous rather than pointing out Dr. Freedman, who as far as I can tell is truly helping Multiple Sclerosis patients although he probably shouldn’t be opening his mouth about other stem cell treatments. Stem Cell Treatment by the People, For the People And yes, all of these stem cell treatments in Canada, USA, Costa Rica, and China are “unproven” in the eyes of the medical world and the New England Journal of Medicine, although they all are proven in the eyes of the patients who receive the Repair Stem Cells whether they are in the form of umbilical cord stem cells (China), a mixture of stem cells from cord blood stem cells and the patient’s fat (Costa Rica), the patient’s bone marrow in Germany, and/or Repair Stem Cells given in the form of a stem cell transplant after chemotherapy (Canada, USA).   They all seem to work most of the time for the patients NOW and that is what is important. Making Multiple Sclerosis patients wait for 10 years or so for the endless cycle of clinical trials in the US and Canada to end just so the country’s corrupt academic labs make millions and so doctors can see the words “proven” in a study is a travesty. Why corrupt? Because most of them follow the laws of their Lords & Masters: “Pretend that embryonic stem cells can actually do something useful inside an incurable patient, so dying people won’t know that Repair Stem Cells can help them, and the obscene profits of those Lords and Masters---TWO BILLION DOLLARS A WEEK--- can be protected.” Don’t believe me? Then find out how much funding they got from Big Medicine** last year, and how much they expect this year from the colluders: medical profiteers and “your” bought and paid for government. Dying Heart Patient: No Waiting for the Stem Cell Debate To Finish! While the debate on stem cell research rages on, Donald Cecil couldn’t afford to wait for research. Donald badly needed treatment for his heart which was damaged by a series of heart attacks. Luckily, he found a stem cell treatment in Thailand by using his own Repair Stem Cells to heal his ailing heart disease. If stem cells provided a cure for juvenile diabetes, this issue would be a whisper in the wind” Here is my response: I am sorry to say, you are dead wrong. It will NEVER happen in the US…even though it already has. 1. First of all, in the US, you can never say “cure.” A treatment can make you symptom free for 40 years and the AMA and FDA will not let you say the patient is cured, only that they have been symptom-free for 40 years. 2. In the US, when a major breakthrough occurs, you will NOT hear about it…in the US anyway. One brilliant doctor has enabled some paraplegics to walk after Repair Stem Cell treatment. Do you remember where you were when you heard this incredible news? No? You never heard anything about it? Right. Not in the US. In the US, we like to talk and debate about embryos and embryonic research...and we are the only ones. Did you know that the top embryonic stem cell scientists in the world have walked away from using embryos to develop treatments? Embryonic research has been 100% fruitless (in regard to generating treatments) for well-funded and government supported scientists around the world for the last 11 years, yet the embryonic fanatics claim our ex-president is to blame. Imagine how stupid those foreign embryonic researchers are, eleven years of abject failure and no George Bush to Blame! Dr James Thomson, the brilliant scientist and father of embryonic research said about embryonic research: “…embryonic stem cells are not being used in any clinical applications yet, while alternatives such as Repair Stem Cells figure in scores of therapies.” Dr. Thomson also spent over a year in Singapore while it was the most embryonic-friendly country in the world. About a year after he left, Singapore decided to stop wasting their time and funding and gave up on embryonic stem cell research. Dr Oz said on national TV “the stem cell debate is dead,” recognizing the lack of potential in cancer-causing embryonic stem cells to produce cures: http://repairstemcell.wordpress.com/2009/03/31/oprah-michael-j-fox-dr-mehmet-oz-the-stem-cell-debate-is-over/ Ian Wilmut, who led the team which cloned Dolly the sheep, abandoned his license to attempt human cloning, saying that the researchers “may have achieved what no politician could: an end to the embryonic stem cell debate.” Dr. Bernadine Healy, director of the National Institutes of Health under the first President Bush, wrote in U.S. News & World Report that these recent developments“ in the first six weeks of Obama’s term, several events reinforced the notion that embryonic stem cells, once thought to hold the cure for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and diabetes, are obsolete….. In fact, Repair Stem Cells, which occur in small quantities in organs throughout the body for natural growth and repair, have become stars despite great skepticism early on.” 4. I can refer you to many studies showing the huge therapeutic benefits of stem cells for treating over 130 diseases. Here’s one on the author’s example, Type 1 or juvenile diabetes. After receiving repair stem cells, one patient went 4 years symptom free (ZERO INSULIN). Even if you do hear about it, the word “controversial” is plastered all over any slightly pro-repair stem cell article although there are virtually no effects beyond the first 1-3 days due to Repair Stem Cell treatments that standard lab practices cannot avoid or an Advil level drug cannot cure. 5. Thousands of people all over the world are being treated successfully for ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Heart Disease, Autism and ~130 others. This issue of the embryonic stem cell debate IS a whisper in the wind, everywhere in the world except in the US. In the US, the trumpets are sounding so loud “for” and “against” Embryonic stem cell research, that Americans cannot hear anything over the clamor. They cannot hear that they are wasting their time, that embryonic stem cells will not produce treatments for 20-50 years, that Repair Stem Cells work now, that ~130 diseases are being treated all over the world and that embryonic scientists are abandoning their work. All of these above words are not allowed to be printed in major American city newspapers, American medical journals, and about half the magazines. Newspapers twist stem cell facts almost every time they publish a stem cell article, doctors and scientists are paid to lie regularly (though payment is not by cash or by check but in “grants”), and your medical regulators are among the most corrupt in the world. Don’t believe me? Google “corrupt FDA” and check the number at the top of the page. If you think that’s an unfair search topic, then google “FDA scientists,” look at THAT number and start reading the titles of the articles listed. If that doesn’t make you cringe, then you are probably one of the perps. Stem cell research…REPAIR stem cell research, has definitively created multiple major breakthroughs…but unfortunately, you will never hear about them over the noise of the irrelevant embryonic stem cell research debate.
