SPAIN, IGNORING USELESS EMBRYONICS, LEADS THE WORLD IN STEM CELL ORGAN TRANSPLANTSWorking with Minnesota’s Dr. Doris Taylor, the western world’s only true stem cell pioneer, it is now possible to rescue organs from the trash heap and make them suitable for transplant. By Don Margolis, Chairman - Repair Stem Cell Institute Twelve years ago, Dr. Doris Taylor proved to a disbelieving world, through a landmark animal study at Duke University, that Adult Stem Cells (ASC) could repair the hearts of dying patients. Within an astonishing four years, clinical trials around the world proved her right for humans. But then Pharma, in 2003, realized how much ASC could destroy its strangle-hold on western medicine, and created the “Embryonic Hoax” as a vehicle to keep ASC away from the millions who could use them today. Controlling with its purse-strings the majority of stem cell scientists, almost every academic institution, and certainly most of the West’s major media, the hoax became “true” as the Big Lie of the 21st century, and North America became a hopeless cause for stem cells which actually help people. |

But that did not deter Spain’s Dr. Fernández Avilés from his goal, which only Dr. Taylor could make possible in such a short time; and today the collaboration is ready to begin working its magic: 1. Take a donor organ which cannot help the patient. 2. “Empty” that organ of its original stem cells. 3. Replace those with the patient’s ASC. 4. In a few months it is ready for transplant without cancer-causing immune-suppressing drugs which every transplant demands today.
Not bad for a heart or a liver or a kidney otherwise destined for the hazardous waste heap of the hospital! Spain, a world leader in human organ transplants, is now also THE pioneer in the creation of bioartificial organs with stem cells implanted into patients after the opening on Tuesday in Madrid of the first laboratory in the world dedicated to the growth of artificial organs for human transplant. The laboratory will "empty" human hearts or other human organs unsuitable for transplantation and recolonize their cell content with the patient's stem cells, allowing the organs to grow anew, ready for transplant back into the new body, said its developer, Dr. Francisco Fernández Avilés, head of the Gregorio Maranon hospital cardiology wing, where the center is based. The lab, opened this Tuesday, is the "world's first laboratory for bioartificial organs to produce adult stem cell transplants," said the Minister of Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia. The creation of artificial organs is a "third way" that is added to human organ transplantation and implantation of artificial organs, said Rafael Matesanz, director of the National Transplant Organization (ONT). Transplantation of such organs could become a daily reality in "between five and ten years" according to Dr Fernández Avilés, "and is the solution to two problems." One is the lack of suitable organ donors and the other the "rejection" of the transplanted organ by the patient, because the freshly "grown" organs are inert and "have no immune response capability with less than 5% of original DNA" he said.
The aim of the laboratory is "to create a parent bank, in which organs can be stored for months, on which new bodies can be built to suit individual patients.” The bodies or "matrixes" which are emptied cannot be directly used for transplants because the deceased donor "either died from a cardiac arrest or old age" according Matesanz and this is a way of using organs that would otherwise not be used.
The opening of the laboratory has been possible thanks to the work of the Gregorio Marañón in transplantation and regenerative medicine and its collaboration with the ONT and the University of Minnesota (USA) and director of cardiac repair, Dr. Doris Taylor, who has investigated the procedure using the hearts of mice.
So far, the cardiology unit of the Gregorio Marañón has "applied the elimination of cells" to eight hearts which have succesfully become viable organs using the patient's stem cells.
And by late 2010 they want to install a heart from a donor using regenerated cells. Moreover, "as it advances, the arrays could arise not only from humans but using animal organs" said Dr. Fernández Avilés.
The implementation of the laboratory- in which the hospital has invested 600,000 euros and where ten people will work, is also based on Spain's leadership in organ donation and transplantation.
Spain is a world leader in organ donation for transplants since 1991 and has "the best model for transplant in the world", according to Fernández Avilés. In 2009, Spain made 4,028 donor transplants, a new record for the country.
Furthermore, Spain is part of the so called 'G-4' of regenerative medicine, along with the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom and is "among the ten powers higher quality biomedical world," according to the Minister for Science and Innovation.
Except the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom are fully controlled by Big Pharma and wasting billions on something which is not needed and which will never work to improve human lives before 2050. Sort of like spending billions researching propeller-driven aircraft and ignoring jet engine science. Rumor has it that USA science will soon start work on its next target, researching how to replace modern music systems with vinyl records.
THE SECRET IS OUT: ABC NEWS DISCOVERS A NEW EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT AT DUKE.If you are a diabetic, they no longer have to chop your leg off because of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). Great news, right? Sure is, err umm, make that “Sure was” in 2006-07.
OK, in North America, “Everything Old is New Again” applies to stem cells in spades. Keep in mind, in North America you have been conned into believing that embryonics will work someday and that Repair (Adult) Stem Cells are snake oil.
So Duke and Stanford and Miami and every academic science department which wants to play with something that may actually help a human rather than a pretend science using embryonics, MUST lie and claim “new and experimental” unless they want to tick off their financial bosses in Pharma running the big con.

OBEYING THEIR CORPORATE BOSSES, YOUR DOCTORS AND YOUR MEDICAL SCIENTISTS SAY THAT STEM CELLS WHICH ACTUALLY HELP PEOPLE ARE “UNPROVEN.” SO LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT THESE GODS CALL “PROVEN.”
Here is the garbage which these bribed “experts” consider proof, exposed by one of the world’s REAL experts last month in The Atlantic: (The Atlantic Monthly - also known as The Atlantic - is an American literary/cultural magazine founded in Boston in 1857 and is probably THE most respected magazine in America.)
John Ioannidis (2) is one of the world's most important experts on the credibility of medical research. He and his team of researchers have repeatedly shown that many of the conclusions biomedical researchers arrive at in their published studies are exaggerated or flat-out wrong. These studies are what our doctors use to prescribe drugs or recommend surgery. Ioannidis asserts that as much as 90 percent of the published medical information relied on by doctors is flawed or incorrect. The Atlantic reports: "His work has been widely accepted by the medical community ... Yet for all his influence, he worries that the field of medical research is so pervasively flawed, and so riddled with conflicts of interest, that it might be chronically resistant to change -- or even to publicly admitting that there's a problem." Further, it is commonly believed that modern medical treatments, including drugs, are "scientifically proven. In reality, this is a "profitable marketing ruse," --- (Don Margolis’s Rule #1) ---according to a Huffington Post article by Dana Ullman. Mr. Ullman reports: "The British Medical Journal's "Clinical Evidence" analyzed common medical treatments to evaluate which are supported by sufficient reliable evidence (BMJ, 2007). They reviewed approximately 2,500 treatments and found:
13 percent were found to be beneficial 23 percent were likely to be beneficial Eight percent were as likely to be harmful as beneficial Six percent were unlikely to be beneficial Four percent were likely to be harmful or ineffective. 46 percent were unknown whether they were efficacious or harmful" Sources: The Huffington Post April 20, 2010 (2) John P. Ioannidis (born 1965 in New York City) is a professor and chairman at the Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology, University of Ioannina School of Medicine as well as tenured adjunct professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and Professor of Medicine and Director of the Stanford Prevention Research Center at Stanford University School of Medicine.

They are now exposed by a public service organization called ProPublica; meaning “for the public.” In October, ProPublica identified 43 doctors who earned more than $200,000 each from seven large pharmaceutical companies for promoting their drugs. The reporters analyzed their backgrounds and found: Fewer than half are formal educators affiliated with academic medical centers or prominent leaders in their medical societies. The rest are a mix of physicians with limited credentials or about whom little could be gleaned. Five of the 43 are from Tennessee—more than any other state, even though it's the 17th-largest by population. New Jersey, Texas, California, New York and Michigan each had three. Eleven of the 43 have board certification in the small field of endocrinology, a hotly competitive area because of the multibillion dollar market for diabetes drugs. Eight physicians, the next-largest subgroup, hold no advanced certification, despite speaking on specialized diseases and treatments. Only three of the top earners are women—all endocrinologists, one each from Louisiana, Tennessee and New Jersey.
More than half worked for two or three drug companies. One Tennessee diabetes physician worked for five. Seven earned money solely from Glaxo.
ANOTHER FAKE VACCINE BITES THE DUSTAs regular RSCI members know, virtually every vaccine on the market today is a fraud---and always was. In Britain and Japan, where Pharma’s choke-hold on doctors and patients isn’t quite as strong, and in Belgium where they exposed the hoax for what it was, they published data WHICH YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE in any Pharma-controlled newspaper and magazine in North America. Do not wait for CBS Sixty Minutes to ever tell you the truth about vaccines; they are directly rewarded for their lies by big Pharma advertising budgets. Obviously, profits are far more important to CBS than their viewers’ health, as the 1996 movie “The Insider” showed. (3)
The latest casualty, Gardasil, is detailed here, publicized as a “Cancer preventative for young women.” Teenagers and 20-somethings were vaccinated without ANY proof that it prevented cancer down the road, and worse, that the side effects were never discovered until millions of vaccines were shoved into the arms of trusting girls.

Pfizer recalls more U.S. lots of smelly LipitorWASHINGTON | Fri Oct 29, 2010 2:25pm EDT (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc is recalling two more lots of Lipitor, the world's largest selling prescription drug, after chemicals used in wooden pallets were found in some bottles that had an "uncharacteristic odor." The drugmaker said on Friday that customer reports about the odor prompted the recall of about 38,000 bottles. Pfizer recalled other lots of its flagship drug in August and October. Including the recalls announced today, Pfizer has recalled 368,000 bottles of the statin drug because of the contamination. Lipitor is expected to garner more than $12.1 billion in 2010 global sales, according to Thomson Reuters data. It faces generic competition in 2011. Over the past two years, Johnson & Johnson has recalled millions of bottles of over-the-counter drugs tainted with odors from chemically-treated pallets.
ED NOTE FROM DON MARGOLIS: As Paul Harvey might have said----The REST of the Story. Statins were approved for limited use back in the 1990s, but with little data to back it, they petitioned the FDA (which Pharma owns) to expand it. The FDA then requested that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) decide whether or not it should be expanded. (Sounds reasonable, right? ---Just wait!)
Completely ignoring the side effects and the lack of evidence of safety and efficacy, in 2003 the NIH voted to expand. The hoax was on! As you see above, Pfizer alone sells A BILLION DOLLARS A MONTH of this near-useless pill. Doctors make hundreds of millions in commissions, provided they don’t report side effects. No one cares, not Pfizer, not the MD, not the pharmacist, and certainly not the FDA, whether the patient is helped or harmed---no one, that is, except the doctor-worshipping patient!
This is what you will never read in a major American newspaper or see on CBS Sixty Minutes, all controlled by Big Business:
1—The Majority of NIH voters were shareholders in Pharma. The MAJORITY. Remember the 3 rules of Medicine in North America: 1 Profits are ALL that matter. 2 No cures of any chronic disease allowed; (cures hurt profits). 3 Patients are lab rats and not to be considered other than as suckers to be scammed.
2---A Univ of Calif research experiment in 2008 to determine how patients felt about the reporting of side effects, had to be curtailed because the majority of patients were furious with their doctors for ignoring their statin complaints and would not follow the carefully laid out research program.
3---Most victims of Lipitor were (and are) unaware that the drug had caused the crippling of their muscles and the pain. Certainly their doctors didn’t care that they were disabled; he could push another drug on them and never mention Lipitor caused the problem in the first place!
LONG PROVEN TOXIC DRUG TAKEN OFF THE MARKET AFTER 13 YEARS OF DEAD LAB RATSAbbott Laboratories is taking its weight-loss drug Meridia (sibutramine) off the market, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The company voluntarily withdrew the drug in the wake of findings showing an increased risk of heart attacks and strokes in people who used the drug. Meridia is taken by about 8 million people worldwide. According to Paging Dr. Gupta: "Approved in 1997 for weight loss, the original data on the drug showed that people who took Meridia lost at least 5 percent more of their body weight ... The FDA requested the company withdraw the drug after reviewing data from a follow-up study known as the Sibutramine Cardiovascular Outcomes Trial (SCOUT). It showed there was a 16 percent increase in the risk of serious heart events." New England Journal of Medicine September 2, 2010; 363(10):905-17 Ed Note: Now that you have seen the “official word,” here is “The Rest of the Story,” with full respect to the memory of Paul Harvey. Don’t look for the following information in the Pharma-controlled NEJM or NY Times and especially not on Pharma-dependent CBS Sixty Minutes. Meridia has shown danger signs since it was approved in 1997 and now 13 years and untold deaths later will finally be taken off the market. This is yet another example of an "FDA-approved" medication that was causing far more harm to Americans than good … and another reason to seriously reconsider taking drugs prescribed by MDs for weight loss (or most anything else). Warning Signs for Meridia Were There from the Start Meridia's heart risks (usually hidden from you lab rats by commission-earning MDs) were known from the beginning; when it was approved it carried a warning on its label stating that the drug should not be used in people with a history of heart disease, heart failure, heart-rhythm problems or stroke. The drug, which suppresses your appetite by altering levels of the brain chemicals serotonin and norepinephrine, is also widely known to raise blood pressure and heart rate, and an FDA advisory panel recommended against its approval in 1996 for this very reason. But “advisory panels” mean nothing, only bribes count, and enough were passed out to the right patient-hating doctors, scientists and regulators to win an approval for this useless drug. (1) Please remember this the next time a Pharma-bribed know-nothing tells you Repair Stem Cells are “not FDA approved.” Public Citizen later petitioned the FDA to ban the drug in 2002, alleging that it was responsible for causing dozens of deaths and hundreds of adverse patient reactions since it came to market. In 2005, the FDA again considered placing stricter warnings on the drug, and in January 2010 finally asked Abbott, the drug's maker, to strengthen the warning following review of preliminary data from the SCOUT study. The SCOUT study, which ultimately lead the FDA to request the drug be removed from the market entirely, found a 28 percent increased risk of heart attack and a 36 percent increased risk of stroke in patients taking Meridia compared to placebo. Those are steep risks for a drug that does not really cause any weight loss worth mentioning -- hardly worth risking a fatal heart attack or stroke over. But the main point of this article is that this was known in 1997, and there are thousands of victims of Pharma profiteering who are now invalids and they don’t even know why. And then there are those hundreds lying in an early grave. In this clinical trial, they found that in 3.4 YEARS the average weight loss for these 10,000 fat guys was FOUR POUNDS! Repeat: They lost 4 pounds in 3.4 years! Blood pressure went down a bit for the patients who got the drug, BUT WENT DOWN MORE FOR THE PLACEBO GROUP. Pharma’s loyal, high-commission earning doctors got eight million of you lab rats to take this hoax drug, causing a huge number of heart problems in patients who HAD no heart problems! Duhhhhhhh. The doctors then had more profitable diseases to treat with more drugs. Yayyyy!

The good news is, there are doctors who embrace the holistic physiological treatment approach. 2. The bad news is, it’s taken western medicine so long to get here and it will take decades to revise the medical system, reliance on target drugs, etc. if it ever happens. (it won’t) 3. What seems ridiculous to me is that this “treat the system” synthesis paradigm, is being held up as avant garde, new and novel by many practitioners. I don’t know…it sort of seems to me like they are showing up 2,000 years late to the party and wearing white after labor day. But they are excited about this “new” direction and I guess that is a way better thing to focus on than the cries of patients getting pumped full of chemo or radiated, the tears of the patient’s family as they watch their loved ones wasting away or the futility of repeating over and over (erroneously), “there’s nothing more we can do for you.” So the body is a system and we should treat it as such. Right on! Now…if only there were something other than the drugs; drugs that do nothing for the entire body and only target the broken part. If only there were something integral to the physiological system that functioned naturally and symbiotically with the system in it’s healing process. If only we could help that system, help that healing device and help the patient to live more healthfully. If only… If only stem cells were available in the US. – dg
