RSCI BENEFICIARIES

RSCI has helped to educate thousands about the therapeutic benefits of Repair (adult) Stem Cells.  Patients battling debilitating diseases and their families and friends have been empowered on how to take the steps towards making life-improving decisions.  Many patients have been helped by RSCI, received Repair Stem Cell treatments and are showing significant improvements.  PEPPI UNDERWOOD & GEORGE TRAJKOVSKI & CHRISTIAN CILLIERS & SANDY EBI ARE FOUR OF OUR TREASURED RSCI BENEFICIARIES!

Peppi from Louisiana

Traumatic Brain Injury + Visual Impairment

Peppi Underwood, 28 years old from Baker, LA

Peppi could not see out of both eyes at once due to an accident which resulted in traumatic brain injury five years ago, had to close one eye in order to see!  He reports that at the three-week mark in China, everyone was delirious with joy as he went online and showed them how he could easily focus both eyes on the computer screen.  Later that week, for the first time in five years, he could walk into a room and focus on every person who spoke to him.  The family is raving about the marvelous care they received, the doctors, and the hospital staff.

Peppi’s post treatment survey form:

·         How many times have you participated in stem cell treatments at one of our centers? 1

·         In this last treatment, how many injections did you have? 6

·         Please rate the hospital relative to your expectations before arrival. Better than expected

·         Describe the general cleanliness level of the hospital. Good

·         Which types of physical therapy did you find most beneficial? List the most useful therapy first. The one that helped me to verify my colors, but all of them was beneficial to me, they all helped me.

·         After your first tests were completed, did the doctor go over the results with you before your treatment started? Thoroughly

·         Did you have a headache immediately or the day after spinal injections? No headaches at all

·         Did you have a fever immediately after spinal injections? No fevers at all

·         Please detail below any other side-effects you experienced during the treatment and also the severity of the side effects. I didn't have any side effects at all.

Peppi’s Patient Survey:

Patient was VERY SATISFIED with:

1.      Stem cell therapies received.

2.      Non-Stem cell therapies received.

3.      The medical services received.

4.      Medical staff’s answers to his questions.

5.      Information about the treatment received prior to your arrival.

6.      Support received for your travels and arrival.

7.      The Doctors.

8.      The Nurses.

9.      The Therapists.

·         Based on your experience to date, would you be interested in receiving more stem cell treatments? Yes, definitely

·         If you have any final thoughts or comments about the therapy, the hospital, or the staff, please use the space below to write these. The Doctors and staff are very knowledgeable. They know their job and they do it. What I like about everything is how everybody worked together + no job is too small to do…it's the togetherness they have and give to the patient.

Some emails on Peppi’s progress from his mother Tamara:

“Peppi is so excited about everything, since the stem cell treatments his confidence is very, very high.  Before the treatments his faith was strong and now, oh my God.  Now he tells everyone about the stem cell treatment and how they can't go wrong by having it.  He wishes that everyone that's in need of a better life and health can have the treatments.  Peppi used to have to look for you and he can now zero in on whomever is talking to him; he doesn't have to hold on as much to another person like he used to.  We know that everything is going to work out just fine.”

“Peppi’s vision, his brain injury has totally improved, more so since the stem cells treatment.  There is so much improvement since the treatment until now; I don't know where to begin.  Since treatment, he has a total new look at life.  He knows without a doubt that his life will get better with time; he is ready to go back to work or do something that can help others.  Peppi is very pleased with all the treatments and recommends it to any and everyone.”

“Before we went for treatment he was dependent on me for just about everything, now, oh no, not now, he still has a few limitations, but you need to see him now.  This means so much to me.  Looking back at when he couldn't think or remember, didn't know when he was full, or couldn't handle his own business etc. and now what a man, what a man.”

“April 2010 Peppi will compete in the Pelican Relays and I will send you a DVD on his events.  Sure if his sight doesn't fully return by then, he will return for more stem cell treatment after a year or two, you have to give things time to work out.  Also Peppi came from looking out of one eye at a time because one eye would see one thing and the other another thing…since the stem cells he can see the same objects out of both eyes at the same time.”

St. George Wins Again!

Multiple Sclerosis

The Wife of George Trajkovski writes (November, 2009):

Dear Mr. Margolis,

Thank you, thank you, thank you! My name is Angelina Trajkovski, the wife of George Trajkovski, and I want to express my gratitude for making it possible for us to realize the dream of getting my husband better and on his way to recovery from Multiple Sclerosis. I don't think I can find words that will in any way describe what we feel this moment after having done the procedure this past Saturday. Many kids went trick or treating for Halloween, however, our 11 year old daughter, Tijana, got the treat of a lifetime, her father getting stem cells so he can play ball with her. The Dr. at the treatment center, his medical team and the staff at the clinic were phenomenal. Their compassion and humility, professionalism and expertise, made this experience something we have not seen before. From the moment we met them to the moment they left the hotel room after they checked on George for the last time, we felt confident in the choice we made. After two years of extensive research on stem cells, I came across your website and I have not looked back. Don Alvarez's blog about his mom finalized my decision to contact you and have the procedure.

We are home now and George is feeling very good. We will keep you posted on his progress. We cannot forget Walter Trotter. His communication ability made the whole process easy and the answers to our questions came in no time. Thank you, Walter. Also, Mr. Gilberto Vasquez had everything ready for us. We could not have asked for a better stay during this time. The staff at the Sheraton Hotel was accommodating and helpful in assisting my husband who needed a wheelchair to get around.

For the past ten years, every doctor in the US told us that there is nothing they can do except keep on taking the medications each one of them favored (Beta-Seron, Rebif, Avonex, Copaxone). I come from Europe and always have had a different outlook, so I never stopped asking about new procedures and stem cells. When I realized that in the United States the pharmaceutical and insurance companies write the answers for the doctors to give to their patients, I started my own mission to find a cure or something very close to it somewhere in the world to help my husband. I hope that one day other patients will understand adult stem cells and the potential they have to help. Both my husband and I have made it our obligation to give other people the information and hope they make the right choice like we did.

Thank you again for your outstanding work,

Angelina, George, and Tijana Trajkovski

The Wife of George Trajkovski writes (January 1, 2010):

Dearest Mr. Margolis,

George, Tijana and I want to wish you and your family a Happy New Year! May your days this year and always be filled with joy, health, love, happiness and unlimited success.

What can I say? I got my first dance in three years with George on New Year's Eve. Thank you.

As the Doctor said, we should start seeing progress in 30 to 45 days. Well, on the 30th day, George got up and walked 15 steps without his walker. Our daughter made him walk back to his chair because she could not believe what she was seeing.

It has been 60 days since his treatment and he is showing significant progress:

·         He is walking without a walker around the house

·         His fatigue is completely gone

·         His speech and eyesight are perfectly normal

·         The pinky on his right hand is starting to work again; it had been suffering from atrophy.

·         He dresses himself, bathes himself and other daily activities such as daily hygiene, eating, writing, talking on the phone and so on.

·         Climbing stairs is becoming easier with each therapy session.

·         His physical and occupational therapists are amazed with his progress.

All this was impossible before the treatment.

Thank you again,

Angelina Trajkovski, atrajkovski@msn.com

Sandy from Montana

Multiple Sclerosis + Hearing Disorders (Tinnitus)

This is merely an introductory teaser to Sandy’s story of perseverance and triumph.  I will give a detailed account of her ordeal with Multiple Sclerosis in the next newsletter.

In January 09’ Sandy had lived half of her life with Multiple Sclerosis, had inconclusive data on another significant medical issue and had conducted her own research to find stem cell treatment for herself.  Sandy did a very admirable research job and in the end, she chose a fine treatment center (prior to her ever contacting me).  While I mentioned that she might end up at a different treatment center that specializes in both her MS and the other condition she “might” have…I was happy to simply provide her with information on studies and trials she might need and be a friend during her journey towards treatment.

Unfortunately, over the next 6 months Sandy’s treatment was cancelled and rescheduled a number of times due to her additional (inconclusive) medical issue.  The emotional roller-coaster ride took a huge toll on Sandy and while she advocated for herself and battled valiantly…she was ultimately rejected from her chosen treatment center and her hopes of ever finding a treatment center to treat her were severely diminished.

By the time Sandy turned to me and RSCI to help find her a new treatment center; rejection, despair and uncertainty had already crushed her normally optimistic attitude.  Working together with me and RSCI, Sandy finally found the assistance she was looking for and was subsequently treated at one of RSCI’s recommended treatment centers.  Sandy’s journey is an amazing story of determination, victory over seemingly insurmountable obstacles and one from which I know I learned as much from her as she did from me and RSCI.  Here is a quick recent message from Sandy (in her own words) that details merely ONE of the many symptoms of MS that has been positively affected by her treatment:

“I've never really discussed or admitted to the tinnitus I have had in both ears forever....just a nuisance nothing too troubling.  It usually just showed up when going to sleep when everything was super quiet.  Last night while falling asleep I noticed that there was NO ringing in my right ear at all!!!! Way cool :)  I also find that there is an energy that hasn't been there for 26yrs - everyone really noticed at work this afternoon :)  I took pics - I will send them when I have time. As always = THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!”

More to come in the next newsletter!

RSC Helps 2 Boys with Cerebral Palsy

2 best friends, both with cerebral palsy, embarked on a journey in which a community came together to help raise money for a stem cell treatment that is now changing their lives.  Dominic King and Harrison Spiers, both 10 years old, from Englewood, Colorado went to Europe in August 2009, to receive stem cell therapy using adult stem cells taken from their own bodies.

From the
stem cell news story: Harrison's father said the procedure is not related to the use of embryonic stem cells.  "There's been a lot of debate on health care, and stem cells. This is not controversial. They are taking it from (Harrison's) own body and putting it back in his own body. It's here and now, not maybe 30 years from now," he said.

But the procedure is not done in the United States, so the boys would have to raise thousands of dollars and travel. Fortunately, their school and their community stepped up and made it possible.  "It's amazing. I know we keep saying that word, but truly is," Alicia Spears. "(We) hear it every day on the news; people are being laid off, unemployment numbers are up, money is tight. And yet, people in this neighborhood and this community found a way to write checks."

"It hit me, I started crying in the car and thought this is just unbelievable what people will do,
" Christina King said.

Don Margolis on the Changing Tide of Stem Cell Research Media Coverage:

I hope you watched the whole stem cell video.  I was near tears by the end.  Whoever put this video together deserves a gold medal.  This wasn't just a usual 2 minute snippet.  This was a full 6 minute video about a tremendous adult stem cell story.  Hopefully, this is a turning point in which the media now focuses on stem cell research that is NOW helping people daily- adult stem cell therapy to be exact.  I think the tide is turning and no longer are the media infatuated with these scientists who give good quotes about the potential of embryonic stem cells, but never "show us the money".   The only people helped by embryonic stem cell research are the scientists who get paid with our tax dollars to pretend they are making progress.  Many of the top embryonic stem cell scientists in the world have walked away from using embryos to develop treatments and do not believe embryonic stem cells treatments will be developed in their lifetimes.

A very happy new year to all of you and let's get the word out about adult stem cells- maybe  we can get it here in the USA someday soon (perhaps I am too caught up in the New Year excitement :).  We have plenty of other success stories about children and adults with
cerebral palsy helped by adult stem cells.  Please feel free to explore our website for more inspiring stories.  – Don Margolis, Founder, RSCI

Repair Stem Cells Proven Effective for Heart Diseases --- Scientifically!

Congestive Heart Failure, Angina, Cardiomyopathy

Peer-reviewed Published Study Results:

TheraVitae, the world's very first stem cell company to commercially treat zero-option heart patients, is now also the first stem cell center in the world to have the results of commercially-treated patients'  scientifically verified.  There are now three published papers written by TheraVitae associates and a fourth awaiting peer-review!   TheraVitae utilizes a unique type of Repair Stem Cells known as "angiogenic cell precursors." While they are very expensive to produce, they are also very potent and currently only available from TheraVitae.

The results of the TheraVitae stem cell treatments, producing significant improvements in over 2/3 of patients treated are detailed in the peer-reviewed, published scientific paper lead researched/written by Minneapolis Heart Institute co-founder Dr. Kitipan Arom. The 41 end stage cardiomyopathy patients in the study showed improvements virtually across the board.  Another 50+ patients, not in the study, were treated by Dr. Kitipan's team for late stage Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) with equally impressive results.   To download Dr. Kitipan's paper, click here to download the PDF!

When Will We Be Able To Get Repair Stem Cells?

Previous cardiac clinical trials express that heart disease patients who receive their own Repair Stem Cells have the best chance at an increased quality of life.  TheraVitae’s peer reviewed papers are further proof that adult stem cells should be given to every heart patient as the gold standard medical treatment.  The fact that stem cell therapy is still not available to the millions of heart patients around the world may indeed be a travesty, but it is an easily averted one.

Where Can I Get these Repair Stem Cells?

These powerful stem cells have been refined from over half a decade of implementation in some of the world’s most advanced treatment centers in hospitals in Bangkok, Singapore and Latin America.  To read more about these available stem cell treatments, visit www.vescell.com.

These unique stem cells are now produced by a USA-owned company and will soon be offered in a major hospital in Mexico.  Check back at http://repairstemcells.com for updated information.

RSCI EPILOGUE:

Thank you for reading the Repair Stem Cell Institute’s Newsletter!  We want to bring you up to date on the new improved stem cell treatments that are available now

In 2009, the Repair Stem Cell Institute helped thousands to learn about the safe and effective stem cell treatments available to them. Many chose stem cell treatments that the Institute recommended, and perhaps two-thirds of them are well on their way to an improved quality of life.

Not only are dozens and dozens of new stem cell protocols in use today which were not being used as of 1/1/2008, but more information is also now available. As an example, for the first time in stem cell history, scientific data proving the miraculous results the world’s first stem cell company has achieved for 400+ no-option cardiovascular patients will be available in 2010, and the Institute will be the first to have the summary data along with abstracts of peer reviewed published papers.

Parkinson’s treatments, which have been limited due to difficulty of getting the stem cells to the affected portion of the brain, will see new protocols in early 2010 which will use catheters to implant those stem cells where they will be most beneficial.  This protocol may soon apply to stroke and PPMS patients also.

Spinal Cord and Cerebral Palsy patients now have choices closer to North America than ever before, while those with Muscular Skeletal disorders such as bone, tendon, cartilage and knee problems can now be treated with Repair Stem Cells in North America.  Many of our top stem cell centers have switched from the patient's bone marrow to the patient's tummy fat to provide the strongest stem cells.

The Institute has become an all-in-one resource for widespread Repair Stem Cell information and patient education.  There is no cost or obligation for our services. We look forward to helping you.

If you are interested in learning more about how Repair Stem Cells can better help you or a loved one in 2010, click here.  We will start the information flow to you within less than 24 hours.
